The new dining options for Boise State University provide the students with lifestyle dining choices that fit into daily student life. Recognizing that modern food operations should embrace the multi-tasking of the modern student, spaces were designed with eating, socializing, studying, computer access, and the ability to simply “hang-out”.
Birchfield Jacobs Foodsystems developed all concept, pre-planning data and design documents for the new residential dining operation to support campus housing. The plan included residential dining, a convenience store, and retail dining. A highly flexible operation was developed, allowing all stations to change over time, or over contract management companies’ concepts.
